What inspires you?
Hello!
I’m Emily, owner and designer of Juliet M. I want to share with you what inspires me, as a woman, a mother, and as a designer.
I’ve always felt connected to the whimsical side of life, searching for fairies as a child, and now strolling through the evergreen forests that surround my home in the Puget Sound of Western Washington. I feel inspired by the simple magic that makes up everyday.
The colors, strength, and symmetry of nature.
Sweet and simple moments with my family.
Women who navigate their lives with tenacity, elegance, and a strong sense of personal style.
I named my company after my daughter, Juliet Marie. She is my second child and a beautiful, happy & peaceful soul. She inspires me, she makes me laugh, and fills my heart with so much gratitude!
I spent my early career as an advocate for women escaping domestic violence, and seeking shelter. Having survived DV myself, working with these brave women inspired me everyday.
When forming my company, giving back and staying connected was very important. Juliet M donates 10% to Domestic Violence Shelters across the U.S. to provide direct service to those women escaping violence. Together we CAN make a difference.

Behind the Design: Sister Love
For my beautiful sister Rachel...
Hello!
Each piece in the Juliet. M line is uniquely designed, with some pieces inspired by specific moments and people in my life.
Back when the Juliet. M was a dream about to take form, I sat down to to design my first piece: the Rachel Necklace.
The Rachel necklace or, in my mind, “Rachel’s wedding necklace” was inspired by my sister and designed for her to wear on her wedding day. No pressure!
My goal was to create something exquisite and strong, yet understated, just like her. If you poke around the Juliet M. site, you’ll see plenty of shots of Rachel modeling the jewelry line.
The symmetry of the necklace reflects the harmony between my sisters and myself. Three diamonds, lovely by their own measure, but certainly more stunning when united. The number three also holds tremendous significance throughout history, often a mark of past, present and future time, as well as a symbol for spirit, mind and body wholeness.
This particular piece never fails to astound me with how sparkly it is, and I love seeing how it frames the beautiful women who wear it.
Rachel was, not surprisingly, the prettiest bride I’ve ever seen. Having the opportunity to watch her walk down the aisle adorned in the jewelry I designed for her was an absolutely humbling and emotional experience.

Behind the Design: Little Woodland Spryte
The design of the Spryte Ring is rooted in forests and folklore.
Hello!
Although each piece in the Juliet M line is unique, the Spryte Ring is exceptionally so, and one of my personal favorites.
The design of the Spryte Ring is rooted in forests and folklore. As a child on walks through the woods, I conjured up imaginary fairies in my mind’s eye, pretending little magical creatures were buzzing about, hidden just out of sight.
From acorns to feathers, wreaths to bouquets, there’s something enchanting about taking a snippet of nature along with you. This feeling influenced the creation of the Spryte Ring, a take on a simple sprig or blossom you might find in a garden, a meadow or on a walk in the woods.
Even as an adult, I love whimsy and magic. The theme for our wedding was... A Midsummer Night's Dream.
When I finally got to see the Spryte Ring , I was floored by the brilliance of the emeralds - a truer, richer green than I could have imagined. Meanwhile the mystique of the fiery opal feels so right as the centerpiece.
